Jason Francisco examines the complexities and contradictions of the former Nazi camp at Płaszów; Menachem Kaiser explores the intersection of family, Halachah (Jewish law), and material and spiritual inheritance; and Erica Lehrer discusses the layers of meaning-making around the popular “Lucky Jews” and other folk figurines in Poland. A full meal with wine be served at this event.
