Alex Stolze
Short bio
Alex Stolze (M) is a violinist and music producer , born in East Berlin. He has generated a well-deserved reputation, both as composer and collaborator. Already widely acclaimed for his work with electronica acts Bodi Bill and Unmap, and the experimental avantgarde trio Dictaphone, his emergence both as a solo artist and as initiator of label and recording studio Nonostar has opened up a range of wide artistic possibilities. The Nonostar label, on which artists such as Anne Müller, Ben Osborn, Qrauer and Field Kit have released so far, is based at Stolze’s remote creative workspace on the German-Polish border called DELTAHAUS. The three self renovated ruins recently develop into an international artist center that connects music, art, poetry, dance and theater. Alex Stolze has played concerts widely across Europe and North America for the last 15 years and will release his third solo album in 2024 via Neue Meister. He currently is working on compositions for „LULU“ , a musical with Harold Finley in London.
Besides his work as an artist, Alex is initiator and member of World e.V., an association based in Germany.
