Kamila Czosnyk – an intermedia artist, performer, and educator, deeply connected with Lublin for many years, though currently based in Warsaw and the Tri-City. She is a PhD candidate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, studying under Prof. Wojciech Zamiara.
A master of navigating between spaces, she seeks a sense of community within individual artistic actions. Her work is rooted in keen observation of the external world—people, events, and histories—which she thoughtfully transforms into artistic expression. Through her practice, she explores themes of human existence and the surrounding reality.
She has collaborated with institutions such as Galeria Labirynt, Galeria Biała, MOCAK, the Center for Culture in Lublin, BWA Awangarda in Wrocław, and the Museum of Asia and the Pacific. She has been awarded scholarships from the City of Lublin (2018) and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2018). Her work has been showcased at events including NO Budget Show, the International Festival of Ephemeral Art, the 22nd International Festival of Theatre Confrontations, Survival Art Review in Wrocław, Wideonews, Performance Platform Lublin, Kyiv Art Week, the Baltic Gallery of Contemporary Art in Słupsk, the Performance Art Festival Zabih, and FestivALT.
A highly sensitive and versatile artist, Kamila Czosnyk creates at the intersection of various artistic disciplines.
