Anna Rabbit
Short bio
Anna Rabbit – is an illustrator, painter, comic artist, and tattooist based in Kraków, Poland. Born in Asia and now living in Poland, she has a diverse cultural background that deeply influences her artistic practice.
From an early age, she was drawn to visual arts, later earning a master’s degree in the field. She is currently a student at the Academy of Fine Arts (ASP) in Kraków, where she continues to expand her creative exploration. Her artistic growth has also been shaped by living in four different countries, allowing her to absorb diverse traditions and techniques that inform her eclectic and deeply personal style.
Anna works across multiple mediums, including textiles and wearable art. She is passionate about incorporating traditional Eastern techniques and repurposing textile waste, blending sustainability with craftsmanship to create meaningful, tactile pieces. This interest in textile-based art extends to her broader exploration of body adornment, whether through clothing, tattooing, or illustration.
Her fascination with identity and personal narrative is also reflected in her work as a comic artist. In 2024, she published Now We Are Different, a comic book exploring themes of individuality and belonging.
Anna’s work goes beyond aesthetics; it is an exploration of culture, history, and self-expression. Now based in Kraków, she continues to push the boundaries of her craft, committed to art that honors both personal and collective storytelling.
