Maniucha Bikont

Maniucha Bikont – vocalist, instrumentalist, songwriter. In her work, she uses traditional vocal techniques learned during field research in Poland, Ukraine and Russia. She collaborates with musicians representing various musical genres – from folk, through free jazz and electronic to indie pop. She creates film and theater music. She holds a master’s degree in anthropology from the Institute of Polish Culture and PhD in anthropology from the College of Artes Liberales at the University of Warsaw.
