A screening of the film about Anti and Dénes, two elderly Jewish scouts who reminisce about their Hungarian childhood before, during, and after the war. Between the scenes, in the darkness, appear imaginary participants of the scouting meetings. These are the artist’s imagined spirits of the grandchildren of Holocaust victims. They would now be the same age as the film’s author, the granddaughter of survivors.
The project was selected by an international jury as part of this years Open Call supported by the Jewish Dutch Humanitarian Fund.
