Ta’am | dance performance | Q&A
TA’AM is a sensorial journey through body, voice, and memory.
French choreographer, Jessica Bonamy, invites audiences into a powerful encounter between Jewish and Arab musical traditions.
Through movement, rhythm, and chant, TA’AM explores how sound resonates in the body—how voice becomes gesture, and how dance becomes a language of its own.
Drawing on Arab and Judeo-Arab songs from North Africa, hand gestures richer than words, and grounded, percussive footwork, TA’AM creates a vibrant tapestry of shared heritage and embodied sound.
A Q&A with the artist will follow the performance.
