What does it mean to feel at home in the city? Can plants — the ones that faithfully accompany us on Kraków’s streets, squares, and parks — also be a kind of home? As summer gives way to autumn, let’s head out together into the field to meet the city’s flora.
We’ll meet at Podgórze HOIZ, at Józefińska 9 street — from there we’ll set off on a walk during which we’ll take a closer look at the plant species that make up Kraków’s landscape, a living history written in roots and leaves. We’ll learn how to identify wild species in the urban jungle, and what the plants we encounter can be used for.
The walk’s guide, Sabina Józefczak, will reveal to us a thriving, living ecosystem.
Participation in the event is free.
Registration is required.
The event will be held in Polish.
