Oliwia Bosomtwe

Oliwia Bosomtwe (1991) is the author of Like the White Man: The Story of Poles and the Others (W.A.B., 2024), a book examining Polish imaginings of Blackness and the experiences of Black Poles, presented at exhibitions in New York, Brussels, and Metz. Her work focuses on the history of Polish engagements with Blackness and Sub-Saharan Africa. She writes, moderates public discussions, and occasionally curates exhibitions. A graduate of the Interdisciplinary Individual Studies in the Humanities at the University of Warsaw, she is currently pursuing a PhD in sociology at SWPS University. Former editor-in-chief of the portal Noizz.pl, she also collaborates with magazine Znak, among others.
