Antoni Bartosz

Medievalist, Doctor of Humanities from the University of Paris IV at the Sorbonne, literary scholar, translator; (1989-2003) researcher at the Jagiellonian University, (1999-2001) programme coordinator at the Villa Decius Association in Kraków, (2001-2007) director of the Małopolska Institute of Culture in Kraków, (2008-present) director of the Seweryn Udziela Ethnographic Museum in Kraków. He understands ethnography as a careful look at everyday life and thinking about people free of stereotypes. He implements the programme of new openness to the world under the slogan “My museum – a museum about me”.
