Joanna Bakoń

Joanna Bakoń – researcher of Jewish women’s modern history, social media specialist in Jewish institutions and Hebrew teacher. PhD student at the Faculty of Gender Studies at the Central European University in Vienna, where she is preparing a doctoral thesis on the Bais Yaakov schools in interwar Poland. Former fellow of: One Year Program in Jewish Studies at Paideia – The European Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden; Yesod Europe; Loewenstein/Losten scholarship. Graduate of the “Young Editorial Team 2018” program of the Foundation for German-Polish Cooperation. Author of articles in “Słowo Żydowskie” and “Korrespondent Warszawski”.
