Monika Szewczyk

Dr Monika Szewczyk – a graduate of the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at Jagiellonian University. She is a member of the Polish Oral History Association and the Holocaust Research Group. She collaborates with the Centre for Migration Research, participating in research projects focusing on Roma migration, transnational lives, and citizenship. Her research interests include national and ethnic minorities, identity politics, and the role of oral history in the preservation and transmission of Romani culture and language.
