Jakub Skrzypczak and Zach Mojsze • Yiddish: Memories, Communities, Identities • Discussion • Accompanying events • HOIZ 2026
In this intergenerational conversation, artist Jakub Skrzypczak and activist Zach Mojsze will reflect on the role of the Yiddish language from both historical and contemporary perspectives – as a vehicle of memory, identity, and cultural transgression. Two Jewish organisations will serve as key points of reference in the discussion: the artistic network Kultur-Lige and the left-wing Bund party. What roles did they play? What kinds of minority communities did they foster? And finally: do the socio-political contexts.
