Kostiantyn and Kateryna Vasiukov (Publicyst Theatre) talk about “Transplanting” — a project in which moving plants between Poland and Ukraine becomes an attempt to carry something more: the memory of a home that had to be left behind before it truly had the chance to become one. It’s a story about the state of suspension between two places shared today by millions of Ukrainians, and about the question of whether, along with family, belongings, and habits, a sense of rootedness can be carried along too.
