Natalia Chmielarz

Natalia Chmielarz – an artist born in Warsaw in 1991, whose practice lies primarily at the intersection of conceptual and performance art. Her work explores the contemporary significance of culture and its potential to investigate questions of identity, reinterpret the meanings of the past, and develop a contemporary Polish-Jewish artistic language. She also initiates and curates projects, particularly in socially engaged art and gardening. She was an artist-in-residence at the Yiddishland Pavilion during the Venice Architecture Biennale (2025). She is currently working on an ego-document entitled “Repetition” — a project at the intersection of literature and visual art.
